When I rested from school I went to tell sacred stories at Big Stone Lake. There was a chinook wind blowing. There were good days.
We did a lot of things. We drew water from a hole in the ice. We snared muskrats. We prepared them for cooking over a campfire to eat them.
We also snared rabbits and prepared them but we are going to eat them later. I brought them home with me.
We hiked in the forest (bush). The snow was deep. At night we told sacred stories. It was a lot of fun!
